Plymouth Heritage Praxis is a heritage research-practice unit that works with heritage organisations to deliver a range of heritage activities from original research to multimedia interpretation. Our expertise covers multiple disciplines including heritage studies, history, geography, tourism, theatre and performance, design and digital media.

Based at the University of Plymouth we are able to pull together specialist interdisciplinary teams to deliver projects tailored to your specific setting and requirements. From site and collections investigations, exhibitions, events and trails through to graphic design and printing, locative apps, or virtual and augmented reality immersive experiences, we help to deliver heritage interpretation in line with modern trends and the ever changing requirements from the visitor.

We aim to involve our students in all our projects, putting real-world experience at the heart of teaching, learning and the student experience.
