The Academic, Corporate and Commercial Events Team drive engagement and raise the institution’s profile through the management and delivery of high-quality, strategic events locally, nationally and internationally. These events and activities are designed to maintain and service existing University audience groups as well as attract new supporters and visitors who wish to engage with the University. Events are selected according to their alignment with the institution’s priorities and ability to achieve maximum impact for the university and include: internal and external conferences; university showcases; summer schools; royal visits; public lectures; networking functions; the organisation of exams; graduations.

Our broad range of facilities includes meeting rooms, lecture theatres with seating capacities from 90–280 as well as exhibition venues, galleries and large open atria spaces all of which are fully accessible and can be complimented by high-quality catering and leading-edge audio-visual technology.
