Our events and reunions offer you the opportunity to re-connect with your University friends and make new connections. 

Whether you live locally or overseas, you can keep in touch with developments at Plymouth by coming along to an alumni event. 

The University also runs hundreds of events each year which alumni are welcome to attend, from showcasing our world-leading research to a wide-ranging public arts programme.

Sri Lanka alumni event

The University of Plymouth is delighted to invite alumni to join us for the launch of the Sri Lanka alumni network.

During this prestigious event, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Simon Payne will launch the new Sri Lanka alumni network with a speech recognising the importance of the partnership with NSBM and the success of our students.

London Alumni Network Spring event

Date: Thursday 28 February 2019, 18:30–23:00

Venue: Senate House, University of London, Malet Street, London, WC1E 7HU

Join your fellow graduates to hear University of Plymouth Research Fellow Imogen Napper talk about her work on the sources and fate of microplastic pollution within the marine environment. 

This exciting talk entitled Plastic Pollution; investigating the not So obvious is a rare opportunity to hear from Imogen who has spent her PhD working with Professor Richard Thompson in the University’s International Marine Litter Research Unit examining the sources and fate of microplastic pollution within the marine environment.

This relaxed and informal evening will be a great opportunity to catch up with your old university friends and make new connections.

The dress code for this event is smart casual.

Tickets cost £5 per person. The ticket price includes canapés and three drinks, all proceeds raised from the ticket sales for this event will be donated to support student scholarships and bursaries at the University.
