Accreditation

Clinical Leadership

Using the existing Accreditation of Prior Learning (APEL) process, having completed this programme you may opt to gain 30 masters level credits by undertaking the first assessment embedded in the first module of the University of Plymouth Peninsula School of Medicine MSc Healthcare Management, Leadership and Innovation

This assessment has been constructed to enable alignment with any future Professional Skills Programme. Successful accreditation will enable you to enter the full MSc pathway through APEL. You may choose to progress to the full PG Certificate by completing one further 30 masters level module covering organisation development and culture.

Clinical Education

Using a similar process, you may APEL towards the PG Certificate in Teaching and Learning for Health Professionals (TLHP) at the University of Bristol. This would require a piece of written work which (if successfully completed) would exempt you from 10 masters level credits on the PG Certificate.

Clinical Supervision

If you are a doctor in training or an SAS doctor this programme will qualify you for a clinical supervisor role as part of the Health Education South West (HESW) supervisor training programme.

Royal College of Physicians (RCP)

The programme awards 42 RCP credits.
