Join us for a dedicated CPD session exploring the lived experience of neurodivergent dental clinicians. Delegates will gain evidence-informed, practical strategies to thrive in clinical environments, strengthen workplace wellbeing, and build sustainable careers in dentistry.
Gain a clear understanding of the systems within dentistry that shape daily practice, from appointment structures and communication protocols to workload management, and learn how to identify where these systems might clash.
Explore how neurodiversity influences interactions with patients and colleagues in a clinical environment, equipping you with strategies to communicate more effectively while building stronger trust and rapport. 
Participants will discover practical strategies for aligning with existing systems to reduce friction, manage time and workload more sustainably, and support long-term well-being.

Target audience: Qualified dental clinicians (dentists, therapists, hygienists) and clinical supervisors

• A – Effective communication with patients, the dental team and others across dentistry, including when obtaining consent, dealing with complaints, and raising concerns when patients are at risk
• D – Maintenance of skills, behaviours and attitudes which maintain patient confidence in you and the dental profession and put patients’ interests first.
