www.gwr.com, open the “Have a promo code?” link in the booking table, and make sure that you add the code PLYOPENDAY26
before you search for your journey to apply the discount. This discount code must be applied when initially searching for your journey via the GWR website. Please note: we cannot reimburse tickets already purchased.
*The over 50% discount is calculated using the standard 20% GWR discount, plus any discount from a valid railcard. Without a valid railcard, only 20% discount will apply.

Travel by bus
As part of a partnership with Plymouth Citybus we are offering the opportunity to park and ride for free at the
George Park and Ride site (PL6 7HB) for people that hold an invitation to our open day. Please use the 42C service direct from the George Park and Ride to the University of Plymouth. This service operates every 30 minutes from 7am until 7pm, then every hour until 10.59pm.
All you need to do is show your invitation to the open day to the driver on the date in question and this will grant you access to the 42C service. This offer is valid for the invitation holder, and any additional passengers will be charged at the normal rate.
Please be aware, there are planned roadworks and building plans happening this year near the George Park and Ride. We advise all visitors using the Park and Ride to expect slight delays with the bus service as well as traffic going in and out of the Park and Ride.
