  • Undergraduate International Student Scholarship
  • School of Psychology - International Undergraduate Gold Scholarship
  • International Partner Scholarship
  • Alumni loyalty reward for postgraduate study.

These scholarships will be awarded automatically providing you have met the eligibility criteria. You do not need to submit an additional application form.

Please note: students are only entitled to be awarded ONE scholarship for the highest value in any given academic year.

To reward outstanding achievement the University of Plymouth offers scholarship schemes to help towards funding your studies. 
Please note: Students are only entitled to be awarded one scholarship for the highest value in any given academic year. These scholarship schemes are for students commencing in the 2023/2024 academic year. 

Undergraduate International Student Scholarship

This scholarship will be offered automatically, providing you meet the eligibility criteria. A separate application will not be required.

Exceptions:

Please be aware that courses offered by the following schools are not included in the Undergraduate International Student Scholarship scheme:

  • Peninsula Dental School
  • Peninsula Medical School
  • School of Art, Design and Architecture
  • School of Biomedical Sciences
  • School of Psychology (see below for School of Psychology scholarships).

Scholarship value: £2000 off your tuition fees in year one.

To recognise continued academic achievement, you may also receive:

  • 10% off the successive years tuition fee if an overall grade of 60% or above is maintained
  • 20% off the successive years tuition fee if an overall grade of 70% or above is maintained.

To be eligible you must:

International Academic Excellence Scholarship

An application must be submitted to be eligible for this scholarship. 
Exceptions:
Please be aware that courses offered by the following schools are not included in the Undergraduate International Academic Excellence Scholarship scheme:
  • Peninsula Dental School
  • Peninsula Medical School
  • School of Art, Design and Architecture
  • School of Biomedical Sciences 
  • School of Health Professions
  • School of Nursing and Midwifery 
Scholarship value: 50% off your tuition fees in year one.
To recognise continual academic achievement, you may also receive:
  • 50% off the successive years tuition fee, if an overall grade of 70% or above is maintained.
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must:

School of Psychology – International Undergraduate Gold Scholarship

Scholarship value: £4000 off your tuition fees in your first year of study with us.
To recognise continual academic achievement, you may also receive:
  • 10% off the successive year's tuition fee if an overall grade of 60% or above is maintained
  • 20% off the successive year's tuition fee if an overall grade of 70% or above is maintained

UKESC Caribbean Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship


One student from the Caribbean region will be offered a scholarship worth 50% off their year one tuition fees. To recognise continual academic achievement, they may receive 50% off the successive year's tuition fee, if an overall grade of 70% or above is maintained.
To be eligible you must:
  • have an outstanding academic record
  • meet our standard English language requirements
  • have an unconditional/conditional offer letter from the University of Plymouth which you have accepted as your firm choice by 31 May 2023
  • complete a scholarship application form and submit this through UKESC by 31 May 2023.

International Partner Scholarship

If you are currently studying at an institution which has a partnership agreement with the University of Plymouth, you could be eligible for an International Partner Scholarship if you progress from a partner college to the University of Plymouth.
