To reward outstanding achievement, the University of Plymouth offers a number of undergraduate international scholarship schemes to help you fund your studies.

Early payment discount for September 2026

In addition to any scholarship students may be eligible for, we are offering students a £500 discount off the first year’s tuition fees if they are paid in full by Friday, 4th September 2026.

To be eligible you must:
  • meet our entry requirements
  • meet our standard English language requirements
  • be an international student paying international tuition fees
  • be commencing your first year of study at the University of Plymouth, regardless of level/stage
  • be studying an undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme.

What you need to do

  • Step 1: Please log in to your applicant portal, view your offer, and click on ‘View Financial Overview’.
  • Step 2: If you have been awarded a scholarship under My Funding Applications. Please note you will only be eligible for one fee discount scholarship and if more than one is awarded, only the highest-value scholarship will be retained and included in your fee balance calculations in Step 3.
  • Step 3: Check the balance value you have remaining to pay, and make an advance payment of that amount, minus £500. For example: If your balance value is £20,000, you would need to pay £19,500. If you have already paid your deposit, please make sure you also deduct this from your final ‘money owed’. Refer to the ‘Balance’ section.
  • Step 4: Once you have made the payment, please email applications@plymouth.ac.uk to let us know you have made the payment. We will ensure the discount will be applied to your record within 7 working days. We will also update your CAS to reflect the amount you have paid, if your CAS has not yet been used for your visa application.

Please note:
  • Students who are eligible for multiple scholarships, awards or discounts by the University of Plymouth will only qualify for the highest amount awarded. Where a student may qualify for the alumni discount and a scholarship then the highest award only will be applied. Scholarships are awarded to eligible students who commence their first year of study at the University of Plymouth, regardless of level/stage. Foundation Year students may also be eligible for scholarships.
  • Scholarships are not available for courses within the Peninsula Medical School and Peninsula Dental School.
  • Scholarships are not available for online courses (distance learning).
