About Tracy

I am a Professor of Marine Paleobiology. My research is at the interface of palaeobiology and palaeoclimatology. Using the marine plankton fossil record I investigate evolutionary trends, the interactions between species and the response of organisms to environmental change.

I joined the University of Plymouth in 2024. Prior to this I obtained my PhD from Cardiff University before undertaking post doctoral research in Cardiff, followed by a research fellowship at the University of Oxford and a faculty position at the University of Leeds for 10 years.
