About Tracy
I am an Associate Professor of Marine Ecology and Chair of the Neogene and Quaternary Planktonic Foraminifera Working Group of the International Commission on Stratigraphy
My research is at the interface of palaeobiology and palaeoclimatology. Using the marine plankton fossil record I investigate evolutionary trends, the interactions between species and the response of organisms to environmental change.
I joined the University of Plymouth in 2024. Prior to this I obtained my PhD from Cardiff University before undertaking post doctoral research in Cardiff, followed by a research fellowship at the University of Oxford and a faculty position at the University of Leeds for 10 years.
