Having been an Associate Lecturer for the Optometry Degree Programme since it started in 2011 and a permanent 0.4 Lecturer as of September 2013. This involves teaching optical theory subjects as well as supervising third years at the Centre for Eye Excellence on the main University Campus.

Other academic activities
Currently part of the Teaching Faculty of the J&J VisionCare Institute, which runs various courses for Eye Care Practioners in the UK. The faculty are independently engaged to provide education drawn from Academia, Professional Optical Bodies, Independent and Corporate Optics.
