About Shaymaa
Dr Shaymaa Al-Juboori is a Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Plymouth. Her research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, healthcare technologies, IoT, and cyber-physical systems. Her work focuses on applying AI and machine learning to cybersecurity and healthcare challenges, including threat detection, network security, privacy-preserving AI, Medical IoT (MIoT), and connected medical device security. She is particularly interested in interdisciplinary research that develops secure, intelligent, and trustworthy digital systems.
Teaching
My teaching spans undergraduate and postgraduate education, with a particular focus on cybersecurity, cyber-physical systems, artificial intelligence, security operations, and computing project supervision.
