About Sarah

I joined the OT leacturing team in Decemeber 2024 which marked the start of my career within higher education after spending 7 years within clinical practice and a couple of years as preceptorship lead. Whilst completing my undergraduate degree as a mature studnet , In knew back then that working in education was my goal. I am a keen open water swimmer and can often be found being drawn to water whether that is to engage in activities which are by, on or in the water. I completed my MSc in Occupational Therapy Advancing Practice part-time via Queen Margaret University as a part-time distant learner and am proud to say I obtained my MSc in September 2025 after many years of juggling studying, work and life. I would love to continue further research involving swimming and blue space activites combining many o0f my interests which also include alongside swimming: gender equality, planetary health and water quality.
