Biography

Biography

I am one of the Disability Advisers at Disability Inclusion Services. I have worked for over 10 years in the field of disability in Higher Education. I have particular experience in the area of admissions for disabled students and have worked with academic and support staff to effectively support students with complex requirements such as visual and hearing impairments, mental health conditions and Asperger Syndrome at the University of Plymouth. I have a particular interest in Autistic Spectrum Conditions and have a BPhil Autism (Adults). I have developed a pre-induction programme for students with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and help to facilitate Plymouth University Autism Society – a social group run by students with ASD for students with ASD.
