About Said

I am a PhD student within the Ocean Energy Sector for Carbon Neutrality (OcEn) project, working on the integrated planning of offshore wind supply chains. My research focuses on developing a decision-making tool to enhance the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of offshore wind farm development by modelling and optimising interactions across four key supply chain stages: turbine manufacturing, logistics, assembly, and installation. The project aims to support the expansion of offshore renewables by easing supply chain bottlenecks and unlocking underutilised infrastructure.

I hold a master’s degree in supply chain management from Massey University, New Zealand, where I conducted research titled "Productivity and Sustainability Analysis of New Zealand Dairy Farms: An Operations Management Viewpoint." I have also worked as a lecturer in Industrial Engineering and as a research consultant in Indonesia, focusing on supply chain design, sustainability, and operations strategy.
