Research interests
My main research area is analytical chemistry with a particular focus on three areas:
Chemical metrology, ensuring that analytical results are valid and fit for purpose with a current focus on micronutrients, such as Fe, in the open ocean.
Nanoparticle extraction from various matrices and measurements using single particle inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry.
Elemental Speciation, the coupling of high performance liquid chromatography to inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry with a focus on arsenic bioaccessibility.
Creative practice & artistic projects
Was once a backing drinker.
