Biography

Biography

I am a physiotherapist by profession, specialising in neuro rehabilitation. I have several roles:
My doctoral thesis addressed professional identity: what does it mean to be a physiotherapist? https://ethos.bl.uk/OrderDetails.do?uin=uk.bl.ethos.619011, and stimulated my interest in professional ethics, values, attributes, beliefs and motivations. I am interested in how we enact these in clinical / professional life.

I worked in the Research and Clinical Effectiveness Unit at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy 1998 - 2015.
