Qualifications: BSc (Psychology), PGCE, MEd (primary science)
Experience: 28 years as a primary school teacher, 20 as a Head teacher with the last 5 years as an executive Headteacher managing a federation of 3 primary schools. During my years as a primary school headteacher I worked in partnership with Plymouth University, providing student placements and whole cohort lectures on the broader curriculum, educational leadership and assessment.
Member of the National Association for Headteachers (NAHT)
Currently working with student teachers on how to teach primary school science and how to work with and manage pupils with special educational needs
