Senior Administrator (Student Employability, Enterprise and Engagement)

The Arts Institute (Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business)

Pen specialises in Knowledge Exchange activities in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business. This role sees her acting as a conduit between external organisations and the University, supporting access to expertise and facilities across a wide range of specialisms, particularly those in Plymouth Business School, in addition to the School of Art, Design and Architecture, and the School of Society and Culture.
Through her work at the University, Pen supports organisations to find solutions to real-world challenges, gain new insights, and to unlock new opportunities. Whether it’s through consultancy projects within the curriculum, or extra-curricular internships. Pen and her colleagues in The Bridge and wider Faculty are dedicated to supporting partners in achieving their goals.
With over 16 years’ experience in the education sector, Pen is passionate about supporting knowledge exchange initiatives that are beneficial for all concerned, delivering genuine impact for partner organisations, bringing new perspectives into the University, and expanding real-world opportunities for students and staff across the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business.  
Projects delivered include: Inspiring Futures – Knowledge Exchange projects within the curriculum and PBS Virtual Internships.

BSc (Hons) Social Sciences
ILM Level 5 Diploma in Coaching & Mentoring
Level 4 Advanced Diploma in Counselling
ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership & Management Skills
PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner
