A Master Mariner holding a B.Sc. (Hons) in Maritime Business Studies and over fifteen years’ experience as a Deck Officer on a variety of merchant vessels, trading worldwide and coastal, including product tankers, bulk carriers, container ships and VLCC's.
Shore based appointments include two years in the marine insurance and surveying industry, prior to a command in the UK passenger ferry sector,.
Fifteen years with the UK Maritime & Coastguard Agency.
Five years as a Ship Management Consultant and
Two years as an Education & Training Practitioner.
