Nicola's main research interests lie in the eighteenth century art market and, in particular, London-centric collecting of prints and works on paper. Her PhD research focuses on on an eighteenth century custodian of an art collection that was gifted to the people of Plymouth in 1853 that, although now partially dispersed, at one time contained at least 20,000 prints.
