Dr Nicola Brennan

Nicola Brennan has a social science background and has worked as a medical education researcher for over 13 years. She is currently a Senior Research Fellow in Medical Education in the Collaboration for the Advancement of Medical Education Research Assessment (CAMERA) at the Peninsula Medical School.

Nicola is also a Lecturer in Medical Education and leads on the supervision of Global Health projects for students at the dissertation stage of the MSc In Global Health.
Research interests
Nicola Brennan is a medical education researcher. Her research investigates:
1. Remediation of doctors
2. Appraisal of doctors
3. Doctors preparedness for practice
4. Migration of doctors
Her research involves a range of methodologies including realist and systematic literature reviews, qualitative and mixed methodologies.
