About Melissa

 

Lecturer in Occupational Therapy, University of Plymouth, July 2019 - present.

I prevously worked in clinical practice in Amputee Rehabilitation from 2009 to 2019, where I worked with service users of all ages and life stages. I worked with lower limb and upper limb amputees and people who were born with limb difference. During this time I worked closely with the wider interdisciplinary team. Prior to this I worked in Paediatrics in community settings and Great Ormond Street Hospital. 

 

 

Teaching

I teach on a range of modules across the BSc and MSc pathways including an interprofessional module and modules related to occupational therapy core skills and paediatric occupational therapy.
