Biography

Biography

I received my Ph.D. in Biotechnology in 2009 from Lund University (Sweden), under the guidance of Bo Mattiasson. I subsequently moved to Canada and undertook postdoctoral studies with Heinz-Bernhard Kraatz at Western University. In 2011, I commenced further postdoctoral studies with Maxim Berezovski at the University of Ottawa. In 2014, I joined the research group of Shana Kelley at the University of Toronto as a Research Associate before being promoted to Senior Research Associate. In 2021, I moved to the US to join Northwestern University as a Research Assistant Professor. In 2023, I moved to the UK to join the University of Plymouth as a Lecturer in the Peninsula Medical School. My research has been focused on the development of cancer diagnostics and therapeutics.
