About Lorna

Background: 

Lorna Burns, Information Specialist, has over 20 years of experience delivering specialist information services across the health, legal and public service sectors. Within the health sector, she has worked within primary care, oral health, mental health and public health. Lorna now works for the University of Plymouth in the Faculty of Health in a combined education and research role.  This includes information science, systematic reviewing and methods guidance for evidence synthesis projecs. Teaching includes evidence-based healthcare, evidence synthesis methods and Postgraduate supervision.

Literature searching to support healthcare decision making, particularly in the fields of dentistry, mental health and public health.
