About Leetice

Leetice Taylor is currently undertaking a research project in partnership with Plymouth City Council focused on ensuring the right child is placed in the right provision at the right time, with the dual aim of improving outcomes for children and reducing costs for local authorities. The study adopts a realist methodology to understand what works, for whom, and under what circumstances, generating practical insights to inform more effective and sustainable decision-making.

Leetice holds an MEd in Education (Inclusivity) from The Open University and a BaEd in Primary Education with an English specialism from The University of Reading. She is particularly passionate about researching issues affecting disadvantaged children, with a focus on identifying systemic changes that could reduce the inequalities and barriers they experience.
