Biography

Biography

After a career as an officer in the Royal Military Police and the completion of my MSc in Security, Management and Information Technology, I was appointed as a lecturer in Security Management at Leicester University. In that role I was instrumental in the creation and development of Leicester University’s Online Distance Learning Programme for MSc degrees in Security and Risk Management. I lectured and in security management at Leicester and Loughborough Universities and was Assistant Director of the Scarman Centre at Leicester University. I was the co-creator and founder of the security management training company Perpetuity Training which provides distance learning courses to the commercial sector. My most recent appointment was Director of Education and Training for the Linx Group and Managing director of Perpetuity Training.

I specialise in the design, development and delivery of on-line academic and commercial distance learning courses, with particular emphasis on partnership development between private sector organisations and higher education providers.
