About Jonah

I enjoy sitting where technology and procedure interact with both sociology and psychology. This takes many forms, particularly with the he human aspect of teaching, institutional and clinical practice.

My main research interests are below:
  • Sociological determinants of the concept of medical professionalism in UK undergraduates
  • The concept of discourse
  • Emotional and cognitive responses of students to the use of LLMs in summative assessment.
  • Art analysis as a means of increasing empathy in healthcare students.
  • The use of LLMs to create embedded MCQs in online videos.
  • Sociological determinants of responses to automated AKI alerts.

I prefer to take a collaborative approach to make work with a depth of thought and reading.

I am interested in widening participation in research and making practice open to anyone with a sense of curiosity. My main areas of activity in this area have been involvement of students, professional services staff, as well as cross-faculty work.

If any of this interests you, or you would like to collaborate, please get in touch.
