My role at the University of Plymouth involves teaching on a number of modules on the undergraduate and postgraduate Occupational Therapy programmes. Research interests

I have completed the MSc in Advanced Professional Practice in Occupational Therapy programme at the University of Plymouth. My research project was a qualitative study using descriptive phenomenology to explore the experiences of running communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I completed the Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP) which will enable me to gain a professional higher education teaching qualification and explore topics such as using technology to enhance learning for students within university education.

My other research interests are in the areas of practice learning and social prescribing.

Research degrees awarded to supervised students

I have supervised numerous BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy group research projects using qualitative research approaches.
