Biography
I am an nurse by back ground and have had the most wonderful opportunity to share my time between being an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Emergency Medicine in ED at Treliske as well as teaching on the Advanced Practice Programme here at UoP. I sit on the Association of Advanced practice Educators (UK) (AAPEUK) committee and the RCN's ANP forum at a national level. I have recently achieved Fellow of the Higher education Academy status after completing my PGCert in Academic Practice.

For the purpose of my personal MSc, I focused on the effect of compassion fatigue of nurses working in Emergency Medicine and how this links into the phenomenon of burnout and associated resilience.
