About Gideon

I am currently a Neurosurgery Academic Clinical Fellow Specialty Trainee 1 at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Foundation Trust. My current research interests are neurotrauma and ageing, neuro-oncology and paediatric neurosurgery. I am particularly passionate about advocacy movements for optimising neurosurgical care in the developing world, closing the inequality gap and facilitating a symbiotic relationship between the global north and south. Outside of medicine, I enjoy mixed martial arts, audio engineering, music of all kinds and hiking expeditions.
