Research Assistant - Preventing Plastic Pollution

I work as a research assistant in the International Marine Litter Research Unit. I previously worked on Defra funded research, 'Investigating the sources and pathways of synthetic fibres and vehicle tyre wear pollution to the marine environment'.
I currently split my time between the European Regional Development Funded project 'Preventing Plastic Pollution' (2020 - 2023) working alongside 17 english and french partners across the english channel to remove and prevent plastic pollution in the region, and working with businesses and industry on commercially driven plastics related research projects.
