Research Assistant
I work as a research assistant in the International Marine Litter Research Unit. I previously worked on Defra funded research, 'Investigating the sources and pathways of synthetic fibres and vehicle tyre wear pollution to the marine environment'.
I currently work part time on a European Regional Development Funded project 'Preventing Plastic Pollution' (2020 - 2023) alongside 17 English and french partners across the English channel, evaluating interventions to plastic pollution in the region. I also work on project funded by Highways England, quantifying tyre wear and other microplastics in runoff from the strategic road network.
