Biography

Biography

I gained my BA American Studies and History undergraduate degree from Middlesex University, researching the social impact of cinema and Frank Capra films from the 1930s and 1940s.  I studied Education at the University of Bolton, gaining my PGCE and specialising in reflective writing.  My MA Education from the University of Plymouth introduced me to Richardson's Writing as a Method of Inquiry, and I wrote a narrative fiction on the experienced of International students in the UK for my dissertation.
Currently I'm researching the writing experience in higher education from an autoethnographic perspective.

I love live music, and book end the year with three day country music festivals in the UK.  In between, I watch alternative, rock and classic rock bands at gigs around the UK.  What's better than live music? Going to another country to see a band; I've seen Muse in 10 different countries.
