Enterprise Manager

Innovation and Commercialisation (Research, Partnerships and Innovation)

Enterprise Manager at the University of Plymouth, leading the design and delivery of inclusive, high-impact entrepreneurship and innovation support for students, graduates and staff.
My role sits at the intersection of education and business creation.  I oversee enterprise programmes that support individuals from early idea exploration through to launch, growth, and investment readiness. Working across disciplines including creative industries, business, health, science, marine, law, and social enterprise.
I manage and grow the University’s enterprise ecosystem through The Cube (student and graduate enterprise) and The Cube² (staff consultancy, spin-out, and commercialisation), collaborating closely with academics, professional services, alumni entrepreneurs, local authorities, and national funders. This includes developing structured pathways, workshops, competitions, mentoring networks, and funding opportunities that translate ideas into viable, responsible businesses.
Alongside programme leadership, I curate partnerships that connect the University with industry and the wider region, in turn helping founders build confidence, capability, and credibility to succeed beyond the university environment.
