About the project
The University has been supported by the National Civic Impact Accelerator (NCIA) 2024–2026 to transform how it connects with our local community. The NCIA is a pioneering initiative driving societal, economic, and environmental advancements in local places. It aims to generate and mobilise intelligence of what works, for whom and in what contexts; catalyse and share civic innovations; and provide universities with the framework and tools to deliver meaningful, measurable civic strategies and activities.
The project, which led to the development of the
University Navigator , has two years of work and was supported by a project team made up of University of Plymouth staff and local community organisations.
