PROGROUP feasibility study

The aim of this study is to see whether a new weight management programme (called PROGROUP) is acceptable to people, and also to see whether it is possible to run a trial of the new programme. To achieve this, half the study participants were offered the usual NHS care and half were offered PROGROUP. Participants have completed questionnaires and attended their local weight management clinic in Llandough, Coventry or Taunton.
Nearly 100 people signed up to take part in the study.
A summary of findings will be available on this page in Summer 2025. In the meantime, thank you to those who contributed to the study.
