Miguel Sicart is Associate Professor at the IT University of Copenhagen, where he is head of the Centre for Computer Games Research. He writes and teaches about the design and culture of playable media. He is the author of the influential book Play Matters, in which he shows play “leads to better, more beautiful, more considered work, and ultimately why play does indeed matter.”
