Founder and CEO of architecture charity Azuko, Jo Ashbridge discusses the participatory processes involved in providing people from disadvantaged backgrounds a safe, clean and dignified place to call home, with the vision of ending housing poverty in Bangladesh and the UK. Jo’s passion lies in humanitarian work and disaster relief and has worked for 13 years in international development, authoring guidelines for T-shelters post-disaster, improving earth-construction with low-income communities across Bangladesh and evaluating sustainable rural development in China.
