Commercial success story

Bacterisk+ system developed by Molendotech

MolEndoTech

Established by Professor Simon Jackson as a spinout company from the University of Plymouth, MolEndoTech addresses global threats to public health and the environment through innovations in rapid endotoxin detection technology. The company has developed an innovative assay that can rapidly identify the concentration of faecal bacteria in water without the need to wait days for laboratory results. It can deliver results in a matter of minutes, significantly improving the ability to identify and track any pollution source.
