Get involved

Schools and family activities

Get involved in contemporary art, learn more about it and have fun with our school and family activities. We have a variety of resources available for schools including education packs, special tours and school workshops.

Find out more about what is available for schools here.

The Peninsula Arts programme is designed for all ages and we run young community projects that allow people of all ages to experience contemporary art and learn all about it. Our family workshops are designed to encourage young minds to be imaginative when responding to our exhibitions in special workshops and hope to inspire their interest in the arts for the future.

See our forthcoming events here or contact the Peninsula Arts Box Office for more information.

Volunteers and internships

We are very grateful for the enthusiastic support we receive from our dedicated volunteers, and we are always looking for more help. Our volunteers can help with support in the Peninsula Arts Gallery, invigilation, brochure mailings and poster distribution, front-of-house assistance and event stewarding.

If you have an interest in the arts and would like to support Peninsula Arts and our work, please contact the Peninsula Arts Box Office - we would love to hear from you.

We also offer a number of internships throughout the year which enable you to gain experience within arts administration, curation, event organisation, music, film and performance. For further information and to request an application form, please contact the Peninsula Arts Box Office.

Research

Working with PedRIO at Plymouth University, Peninsula Arts are leading the way in understanding how people learn and engage with art and culture, recognising how cultural experiences can transform and enrich people’s lives.
