Peninsula Arts runs a varied and exciting programme designed to engage people of all ages in the arts.

Through special young community projects, we aim to provide quality activities for families and young people that give everyone a chance to experience a creative atmosphere with an educational edge.

During an exhibition, the Peninsula Arts gallery is always open to families and admission is always free.

We encourage young minds to be imaginative when responding to our exhibitions in special workshops and hope to inspire their interest in the arts for the future.

Please speak to the team who will always be happy to discuss which events are most suitable for young people.

Please note: age restrictions apply to some of our cinema screenings.

'Voices' season

Peninsula Arts looks to support new and undiscovered cultural voices, as well as bringing those internationally renowned voices to the region and this is explored in this season’s programme.

In discussing how voices interpret and give new meaning to our shared cultural experiences, we looked at how artists and researchers provide a critical voice to help uncover new ways of seeing and understanding the world. We wanted to ensure you could transcend an individual cultural experience by adding depth to your own investigation of what this might mean by having the opportunity to visit various art-forms.
