Sarah Hilary, M R Hall and William Ryan in conversation.

How do crime writers get into the personalities and motivations of their characters? Following on from their crime writing workshop earlier in the day M R Hall and William Ryan join Sarah Hilary to discuss their exploration of the good, the evil and the murky grey area in between of human nature.

M R Hall is a BAFTA nominated screenwriter and author of the bestselling crime novels featuring coroner Jenny Cooper.
