Nathan Filer wowed readers with his Costa Prize winning novel, The Shock of the Fall, while Sarah Hilary’s debut has been described as ‘superbly disturbing’.

These impressive new writers discuss the challenges which faced them on their road to publication, and what they think makes a successful first novel.

This event will be chaired by Clare Wallace from the Darley Anderson Literary Agency.

Location: Plymouth Central Library, Drake Circus, Plymouth PL4 8AJ.
