2018 External Examiners’ Conference
The 2018 External Examiners’ Conference will be held on the 24 May 2018. Invitations for this event will be sent to new external examiners in February 2018.
In the morning you'll get an introduction to the University, including presentations on the role of the external examiner and reporting requirements. You'll also be able to take part in the Q&A panel discussion with University and student representatives and current external examiners.
In the afternoon you'll meet with representatives from the subject/programme team. If you're an Academic Partnerships external examiner, you'll get an overview of Academic Partnerships’ operation and discuss within the relevant subject forums specific issues relating to partner-based delivery of Plymouth University awards.
Travel and parking
There is no parking available on campus for this event. We encourage you to find an alternative method of transport, but if you do plan to travel by car, there are several car parks in the city centre within walking distance of the University, download further parking information.
