Simon Perry

Having recently completed 28 years as a partner with EY (formerly Ernst & Young LLP) a leading global professional services firm Simon is now in the process of developing a portfolio of non-executive director roles. Simon has extensive UK and international experience advising businesses going through significant growth and change and executing successful transactions. In addition Simon has operational experience having been Managing Partner (CEO) of EY’s UK Transaction Advisory Services division.

Whilst with EY Simon held several board roles including as EY’s Global Head of Private Equity, EY’s Head of Transaction Advisory Services for North Europe, Middle East, India and Africa and as Managing Partner of EY’s UK Transaction Advisory Services division. His most recent role with EY was as the Global Coordinating Partner for all EY’s services to a small portfolio of large global businesses.

Simon has advised a wide range of businesses of varying scale initially focusing on manufacturing and industrial products companies and more recently retail and business and financial services companies. Simon has a keen interest in the impact of analytics, e-commerce and technology on business models and working practices and is an advocate of the advantages of diversity in business.

Simon has also been a governor and then chair of the governing body of a primary school in Devon, a member of the London Business School PEBoard and a co-sponsor of the Cranfield Business Growth Programme.

Simon is an economics graduate from Coventry University and a chartered accountant.

Simon was appointed to the Board in April 2017.
