This 40 credit masters-level module is suitable for all NMC registrants who wish to become teachers of nursing. It will prepare you to make a demonstrable contribution to education in practice and take a lead role in the development of educational practice within your practice setting, enabling you to apply contemporary issues in practice. The module will allow you to develop and apply advanced knowledge and critical awareness of teaching and learning in health and social care practice.
This is a core module for those wishing to gain an NMC recordable qualification as teacher and a core module for the MSc Contemporary Healthcare (Education) pathway.
