This 20 credit degree-level module will enable you to develop the skills required to provide the highest quality care for newborn infants requiring additional care and their families.
You will examine the key concepts of physiology, pathology, psychology and social issues which underpin the care and development of the newborn baby requiring additional care in the neonatal period.
This module is delivered by Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust, in partnership
with University of Plymouth, at the
Derriford Hospital site in close proximity to the clinical area of a level
three neonatal service. This enables specialist clinicians and allied health
