School of Tourism and Hospitality testimonials

Why did you choose Plymouth University to do your degree course?

I decided I wanted to study events management after staging my sixth form prom but was unsure of what university I wanted to study at. I chose Plymouth after attending an Open Day where the former course leader Steve Butts, discussed previous students and their success. After discussing the option of a third year work placement which would ensure I gained vital industry experience I knew Plymouth was the right place for me. The course offered a good balance of academic and industry based study whilst offering students the chance to attend fun fieldwork trips to gain important event experience.
