Professor Brigitte Nerlich is
Professor of Science, Language and Society at the University of Nottingham. She
is programme leader for a five-year £1.6 million Leverhulme programme “Making
Science Public: Challenges and Opportunities” (with Dr Sujatha Raman). She is
author of 11 books, approximately 150 journal articles and 60 book chapters. She
writes a regular blog on Making Science Public.
This workshop will explore ways to increase your research impact and how you can use media tools more effectively to promote your academic work. It is aimed primarily at Plymouth University staff and researchers but students are welcome to attend if they are interested.
Location: Room 210, Roland Levinsky Building, Plymouth University.
