Wild About Plymouth: Plant a Paper Poppy
  • Weston Mill Cemetery and Crematorium, North Prospect Road, Plymouth PL2 2HA

Save event

The Hoe will be one of the venues of the iconic Wave sculpture by artist Paul Cummins and designer Tom Piper as part of the ongoing tour.

The poppies were first displayed at the Tower of London where one poppy was made to honour every death in the British and Colonial forces of the First World War.

Come along to Weston Mill Cemetery and join the Wild About Plymouth team to make your own paper poppy and plant it near the War Graves to make our very own Poppy Wave. We will have other activities for you to do and have some fun!

Please meet at the main entrance to the cemetery.

Tickets are £3 per person and can be purchased via the Eventbrite webpage*.
