July is officially National Salad Month and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for sunshine so that you can enjoy our freshly made salads in our outdoor seating areas on campus - if salad isn’t your thing, then join us at our weekly BBQ at Drake's Reservoir!

International Reggae Day: 1 July

Come on in to Drake's Kitchen for a taste of the Caribbean. Free lunch for anyone with dreadlocks!

World Chocolate Day: 7 July

Probably our favourite day of the year, we'll have lots of chocolate treats in our cafés today including Divine Fairtrade chocolate!

Love Parks Week: 15-24 July

With Love Parks Week also happening this month, there is no better place to enjoy the sunshine on campus than at Drake's Place Gardens with one of our Meal Deal packed lunches.

BBQ at Drake's Place Reservoir

  • Every Thursday 12pm-2pm
  • Check our Facebook page for updates
  • Meat and vegetarian options available

Veg of the month: Beetroot

Roast it whole, blend it into a classic soup, or drink as juice like the Olympians do!

Whichever way you choose, beetroot is low in fat, full of vitamins and minerals, and packed with powerful antioxidants - a health food titan.
