In this popular seasonal talk, Helen Astrid leads you through 300 years of musical history throughout Europe and beyond.

Discover the legends and stories behind your favourite Christmas carols as well as discovering new gems. How and why did they begin? Helen invites you to join in a special festive sing-a-long at the end.

After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, Helen pursued a career as a soprano soloist, singing at many major UK venues. She now devotes her time between teaching, leading workshops and workplace choirs and speaking on television and radio.

Cost: £5 per person. Booking essential via the above link. Doors open at 18:30.
